Think there's also a big risk that the SiC market just gets absolutely flooded. Most incremental SiC demand is for EVs and most EV demand is in China, but the Chinese SiC suppliers (and also Soitec in Europe) are also ramping up supply dramatically and they have good-enough quality and much lower prices.

If they go under you still own those stocks up to a certain level along with the cash in you account. Just like the FDIC protection with banks.
